ZHILING (ALEX) LIN
WISCONSIN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS | Ph.D. Candidate

Hello! I’m Zhiling (Alex) Lin, a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Management and Human Resources at the Wisconsin School of Business, University of Wisconsin–Madison.
My research spans two interconnected areas in Strategy and Entrepreneurship. The first stream, which forms the basis of my dissertation, advances the behavioral perspective rooted in the Carnegie School tradition by uncovering novel mechanisms through which organizations adapt in response to performance feedback.
The second stream extends this behavioral lens to entrepreneurship through a series of ongoing projects that explore how organizational structures, psychological traits, and project stages shape entrepreneurial pivoting decisions.
